Refund & Returns Policy

At Bike Parts Warehouse, we value customer satisfaction and aim to make every purchase a positive experience. This Refund and Returns Policy outlines your rights and our procedures regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

1. Eligibility for Returns

Items may be returned within 7 days of delivery, provided they meet the following conditions:

  • The item is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.
  • All parts, accessories, and manuals are included.
  • A valid proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is provided.

Returns that do not meet these criteria may be refused or subject to a restocking fee.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Electrical or electronic components (e.g., CDI units, sensors, bulbs) once opened or installed.
  • Custom-made or special-order items.
  • Consumables (oils, lubricants, cleaning products, sealants, etc.).
  • Items damaged due to misuse, neglect, or incorrect installation.

3. Reporting Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the goods. Include clear photos of the product and packaging so we can process your replacement or refund quickly.

4. Return Process

  1. Contact our support team via email at info@bikepartswarehouse.co.za or call +27 12 345 6789.
  2. Provide your order number, reason for return, and photos (if applicable).
  3. Once approved, return the item to the provided address using a tracked courier.
  4. Once inspected and approved, your refund or exchange will be processed within 7 business days.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method used at checkout.
  • Shipping and courier costs are non-refundable unless the item was defective or incorrectly supplied.
  • If the item was purchased via EFT or bank deposit, please allow up to 7 working days for processing after inspection.

6. Exchanges

Customers may request an exchange for a different size or item if the returned product meets the return requirements. Additional courier fees may apply for exchanges.

7. Tool and Workshop Repairs

Diagnostic and inspection fees for tools and equipment are non-refundable once the inspection process begins. Repairs carry a limited workmanship warranty that excludes misuse, wear and tear, or external damage after collection. Unclaimed items after 30 days may incur storage charges.

8. Warranties and Manufacturer Returns

Some products are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims will be assessed according to the manufacturer’s policy. We assist with claim submissions but cannot guarantee the outcome or timeline of third-party assessments.
